Chapter 30 Our Mother

• In Asherway, Tresh really had a hard time days after Amaya’s departure. Not only did he have to deal with his broken heart but also his mother, Daniel, his friends and fans who all felt like he let Amaya leave because he was caught up with Azure. No one believe him that the kiss with Azure was a publicity stunt and nothing was going on between them. Given his history, he could not really blame them for thinking that. Unable to take the criticisms anymore he decided to resume his tour to get his mind off things but that meant spending a lot of time traveling with Azure, somehow proving everyone’s suspicions. The more time he spent with Azure, he discovered that she was a very good listener who gave him the ear and attention and never even once complained when he bombarded her about his heart ache about loosing Amaya.
• Five months later, Azure laid awake in Tresh’s arms. After their many discussions about Amaya, one thing had lead to another and the two of them ended up having a steamy make out. While Tresh was fast asleep, she could not sleep because she had mixed feelings about what just happened between them. She has always had a huge crush on him but unlike his other fans, she kept it all to herself. She could not believe it when he asked her to collaborate with him in an album and hoped that the two of them would finally be together like in her fantasies. The night with Tresh was better than in her wildest imagination. Never had she experienced multiple orgasms in her entire life, yet she found herself moaning and screaming his name over and over again. She had no regrets about sleeping with him but she could not get over him calling out Amaya’s name when he reached his orgasms. He was apologetic about it, terrified to push him away, she had pretended to be okay about it. Weeks after that the two of them had become constant bedmates. Tresh once in a while still called Amaya’s name when they had sex but she persisted and did her best to please him, hoping that one day she would wipe Amaya out of his mind. She also hoped and wished that Tresh would eventually commit to her or at least publicly declare her as his girlfriend like he did with Amaya but he showed no intentions of doing it, nor did he introduce her to his family and friends. In fact, once they were back in Asherway, he made sure that she was not around when his mother visited. She met Daniel and Becky a lot during the first month when she spent the nights there. Although they were polite to her, they kept her at an arms length and barely two months after that, Daniel bought his own house and moved out and she never met them again. The people Tresh finally introduced her to were Blaze and Big G who were polite and even joked with her. She would have been happy with that had she not known a lot about how the two related to Amaya. She was disappointed that they did not treat her the same even though she was a fellow artist. Tresh on the other side felt guilty about not giving Azure the attention and the love he gave Amaya. To compensate for that he showered her with exorbitant gifts which Azure was always grateful for. There were few things he appreciated about Azure over Amaya. Azure had no objections to him spending money on her. Unlike Amaya, Azure was not picky about which artists he met or interacted with. Azure did not have a lot of her own commitments, he did not have to make prior arrangements to meet her and she was always available to spend time with him.
• Few weeks later, Azure started feeling queasy and discovered that she was pregnant. Tresh surprisingly went on one knee and propose to her. She was thrilled about the proposal but still worried that Tresh was still not over Amaya and she suspected that his mother did not like her.
