Chapter 21 Bizarre offer

• A week later, Tresh and Daniel were having their breakfast when the security informed them that Professors Jill and Jack Spark were outside requesting to talk to Tresh. He recalled those names too well but wondered why Eric’s weird parents wanted to talk to him. He was glad to have his brother with him because after the introductions, everything became really bizarre. Eric’s parents were walking about in his lounge not touching anything but looking closely at each portrait and antique. He could see them making mental notes of each as if they were assessing his house. He met Eric before and could not help wondering how he turned out to be normal with these two as his parents.
• “Amaya talks very highly of you,” Tresh said trying to alleviate the awkwardness in the room.
• “I’m sure, she does,” Jill responded before leaving the lounge, heading towards the dining room and the kitchen.
