Chapter 17

• Lucius and Klaus stayed in the village a couple more days, sorting out the leadership change and collecting information from the few months Nate was there. There was not much to report since the village had no fighting inclination whatsoever, making him wonder why they had sent him there in the first place. Apparently, Klaus was wondering the same thing.
• “Boy, I will assign you to a different location. We’ll go back to the city and you will receive your new post after this week’s meeting”
• That was bad news. See, he had decided to find her. He was not sure when he set his mind on that goal, but he would do it. Nate had spent days mopping around because she left, but after going back to her home he realized this simply wasn’t right.
