Chapter 57 Saving Masma

  • Devada scanned the surroundings, she just realized that the darkness had increased many times over. The shrieks of the devil like a chant are echoing, clawing at the black expanse that covers the earth. The invisible colonies melted under the moonlight. The whistling of the wind brings ripples of negative energy to the eardrums. Occasional hiss of Yacumama bit the atmosphere. The demonic power reached the peak. Two pairs of eyes suddenly filled with disbelief.
  • "Mother!" Devada's scream startled the creature that lay on the forest bark. Yacumama is no exception. The giant creature turned its head to look for the source of the sound.
  • "Dev! Stupid kid! Argh!" Nick couldn't help, but curse through the pain. Water the size of a corn kernel escaped from Devada's eyelids. The turmoil seemed to be deafening her from a series of harsh words from Nick. Supporting the body, she ran to the altar where Masma was trapped in the middle of a star symbol made of fire. The narrow opportunity she took when the snake-shaped monster was nowhere to be seen.
