Chapter 19

• Johnathan was sitting in his room, mindlessly flipping through the channels on the TV. A hundred times he would prefer to be with his buddies in the bar now, but unfortunately his parents forbade him to go out. Johnathan was able to go only to school and back. His father had given an ultimatum - he would either stay at home or they would send him to rehab. Of course Johnathan chose home, he wasn't going to spend months in some weird center, losing half the school year and the upcoming major basketball game. The team was counting on him and it was probably the only one that really kept Johnathan alive now, he could not loose this as well. It was enough for him that he probably lost Rita forever, and in addition, completely out of his own stupidity. Johnathan felt that he really didn't deserve a girl as wonderful as she was, and fate had justly punished him for acting like a complete asshole this whole time. He would give a lot to be able to drink at least a glass of beer now, but unfortunately this was not possible.
• - A guy will drink a beer from time to time, and he is immediately called an alcoholic.- Johnathan grunted, turned off the TV and threw the remote to the ground. He adjusted the pillows under his head and looked at the window. A couple in love walked along the sidewalk, they held hand as walked on the sidewalk towards the city center. Suddenly the couple paused for a moment, kissing, then continued walking.
