Chapter 11

  • "Kiss yourself for me in the mirror, tie a black rose into your hair [...]."- The Rasmus, 'Ten Black Roses'.
  • Rita left school and headed to the parking lot. She was exhausted even though didn't have cheerleading training today. Her fatigue was more mental, and she always preferred physical exercise rather than sitting in the classroom and cramming formulas given by teachers. Even after the hardest training, Rita didn't feel as exhausted as after regular lessons, especially some of them.
  • As she rode out from the parking lot into the street and looked aside for a moment, a tall man in a black ankle-length coat, with mid-length dark blonde hair and dark eyes flashed across the sidewalk. In his hand he was holding a black rose, identical to the ones she received. Rita didn't have time, however, to look at him closely, since suddenly heard sound of a car horn coming from behind, which immediately snapped her out of trance. She looked in the mirror and realized that was blocking the exit from the school parking. Rita set off quickly, but when she looked back to the sidewalk, the man was gone.
