Chapter 14

  • In the Egyptian pantheon, in the realm of gods, Sekhmet observed the spectacle. Her human vessel was suffering; she had to flee to save her life. She ground her teeth, she would have done something, but the gods were forbidden to tamper with the mortal's fate.
  • Ra isn’t as gracious as the mortals think; the great god was cunning and deceptive. He promised her a perfect vessel to live through, to have a family, to raise young like her brothers and sisters, and to live the life that she was denied. By the fate her father drew for her and he indeed delivered that, but he had to ensure it won’t be an easy route.
