Chapter 12

• Adadanu watched his friend huffing and puffing, grumbling under his breath. It has been eight days now and still the same every day and all day, driving him mad. But today he had enough; since he woke up he felt the shift in the air. It was oppressive and ominous.
• His instinct told him something will happen, today will be the first step in his friend’s fresh path which the god chose for him. It will be the pillar that will decide if it was meant for his tomb or creating his new kingdom and he believed it. Down in his bones, that it is the truth.
• His mother was a seer she didn’t see the future, but she felt the strings of fate weaving, and learned how to read the signs. Though he wasn’t as fortunate as her with this talent, but he can observe and follow the small bread crumbs. In days like this, he wished to have an open eye like her but alas, fate won’t give you all you wish for, he of all people should know that.
