Chapter 3 Wedding

  • As the appointed hour drew nearer, Alden suddenly felt sick to his stomach, not feeling like one who was expecting this marriage. It could have been a harbinger, but he couldn't understand what it meant right now. For his part, Gavin hopes something unexpected will happen to prevent the ceremony from being canceled or news of the wedding from being widely known. Even though his family deliberately limited the guest lineup to the most modest level, did not notify the media, and did not invest too much in this reluctant event. A completely simple wedding compared to the hype that people mistakenly think of as a chaebol family wedding, it would still be worrisome if someone infiltrated and reported on the event. It was a lot of trouble then. Because it had to be done because the bride Emma was not officially recognized by everyone as a member of the family, that was the condition that Alden's mother set forth. It sounded absurd and very difficult to accept, but then the couple had to suppress their anger and nodded in agreement. Otherwise, there will be no wedding. Emma of course refused at first, but Alden was full of coaxing, he promised to organize a solemn ceremony like royalty for her later. Now you should obediently please your parents. He also did psychological thinking for her, saying that as long as he proves to his parents that love is strong, sooner or later their parents will completely accept their blessings. When Gavin knew, he could only laugh silently, scolding his stupid brother once he got involved in the two words love. Just wait and see, who will have eyes? Gavin approves of what his mother does to test her daughter-in-law. How things end, time will tell us.
  • "Gavin." Seeing his brother's lost expression, Alden gently shook his shoulder with his hand.
  • “How are you?”
  • Gavin calmed down, confused.
  • “It looks great. I believe you will get more attention than the bride.” Alden laughed at the humorous joke.
  • " Ready?" Gavin asked seriously.
  • "I'm a little nervous, but I'm ready." Alden mustered all his courage, to look his best on his happy day.
  • “It's perfect. Believe in yourself, the only one who should be late is the bride.”
  • He said and they both left towards the church. The place where a wedding ceremony is about to take place is not what people think.
  • Alden tried not to show his anxiety, the wedding was scheduled for eleven o'clock in the morning, and yet it had been thirty minutes and Emma had not appeared. He was about to panic for someone to check the situation when someone whispered that the bride had arrived. Alden reached behind his hand and clenched it nervously, looking toward the entrance. Emma was holding hands with her father-in-law, her white dress marking her waist, looking sexy with a very loose neckline. Finally, a ring of precious stones covers the white neck.
  • She looked very proud, gorgeous in Alden's eyes. He is now feeling proud of his wife. Alden bet a lot of men would be secretly jealous of him, but the truth was too harsh. In the whole world, only he was covered by her eyes, blurring his mind.
  • Alden has always dreamed of his marriage to a woman who resembles his mother. He promised himself to fill his girl with valuable gifts and vows of love. Despite the advice and reminders from everyone. Especially from the family side, he himself blindly believes that Emma is the right woman, the only one he will have for the rest of his life.
  • Are you pitiful or to blame?
  • After the honeymoon.
  • Everything about Alden's marriage anecdote happens like a joke, like a sad movie cut short, showing just how the beginning and how the ending. Skip the lengthy, unnecessary, or simply unnecessary, time-wasting developments. Because it's too bad to watch, in addition, the broadcast time must be called too short, but it can't last for dozens of episodes like a multi-episode TV drama. The couple has not yet experienced the ups and downs of their marriage and hastily separated. It all stems from a predetermined tragedy. Much of it is due to human consciousness, and a small part is due to the arrangement of fate.
  • For the past week, they've both lived in fantasy until the harsh, merciless reality delivers a crushing blow to them to wake them up. Alden thought he would have a happy marriage, have a wonderful wife, everyone admired and envied. While Emma dreamed the vain dream that now that she entered the noble family, there would be no need to worry about anything, only to enjoy the glory and riches.
  • But alas, life is not easy to predict. God always likes to play peek-a-boo, scare the heart, make the bad guys have no shame, don't bother to fear, and treat the sky as equal as Emma has to turn her hand in time. Being punished, receiving retribution in anger, in bewilderment, unable to yawn, not enough complaining. On the side of innocent, easy-to-believe people like Alden, they were suddenly knocked down by a psychological shock that fell on them.
  • The trust is given to the wrong person who knows who to blame but himself has not been guarded, doubted, or even verified.
  • No matter how beautiful the story is, there are no ups and downs, difficulties, or challenges that always happen like that, starting with bright pink colors and always ending with dark black. At the end of the couple Alden, Emma is a typical example, it is difficult to avoid the laws of nature.
  • Specifically, the incident is as follows.
  • Today is Alden's third day back to work, after a week spent with his beautiful, but sinister wife.
  • After eating breakfast prepared by the chef, he kissed his wife passionately before walking out the door.
  • "Let's have lunch together!" Emma asked tenderly. "If you don't like eating out, I'll bring you lunch."
  • She looks like a caring wife, even though her style doesn't suit her at all. If you look closely, you can see the hypocrisy but it takes a lot of effort to complete the role of a good wife. But now in Alden's eyes, everything she does is wonderful. Poor people who, when drunk, forget the way back, let alone think clearly and logically.
  • "It won't work." Emma thought Alden would go crazy with joy, but he refused. “I'm very busy today, I have a meeting with my partner for lunch. Maybe come home late tonight.”
  • Looking at the sad look on his wife's pretty face, he quickly comforted him.
  • “But I will reward you later for this.”
  • Emma pouted like an angry child and spoke slyly.
  • “Then remember to keep your word. I will be looking forward to your gift.”
  • “Of course, dear wife.” He lightly pinched her cheek. “I will definitely like it.”
  • "I don't want you to go. Stay home with me, okay, okay!” She continued to plead, her voice sweet. Her hand gently caressed her husband's chest through his shirt. A sexy gesture like wanting to have sex with him.
  • Alden over time has become a man who can control himself very well. If it was the former, he would not hesitate to give up all other things just to satisfy his lust before Emma's invitation. But now, with a family of his own, not to mention having to do his best at the company to convince his parents to soon accept Emma, he is forced to warn himself to stay sober. However, Emma did not know anything and lacked subtlety all day asking him to pamper and serve.
  • Think about Alden's poor fate because he met his wife who was too cunning, and evil, and did not know how to think and care about him.
