Chapter 8 Frozen Brain

• The 8-hour countdown was over and the elevator door chimed as it opened, letting a straight ray of light into the elevator, claire was the first person to wake up, as light reflected on her eye, her eyelashes flutter as she cleaned her face with the back of her palm.
• “Finally” she whispers, “ hey wake up” she taps Darrell on his chest, before standing up from where she lay, she hugs herself as she makes her way out of the elevator, it was her first night with the culprit, and she has to be calculative.
