Chapter 8 More Than That

  • Rena never imagines it dealing with blood-sucking creatures. She also never refused not to be afraid to face the immortals, whose age could be more than hundreds of years. Because according to Rena, if the vampire has targeted its prey, it will not be released at that time.
  • Rena, who saw Romeo's action pushed hard against the vampire man's body, widened her eyes. She doesn't know if Romeo is that strong and only executes using one hand.
  • Channeling the fear that radiated from her body made Rena feel a firm embrace. Rena felt Romeo's sharp glare to keep calm and trust her, but it was no avail. Rena hid her face in Romeo's chest. Her body shook violently, especially when she heard the dry leaves stamping where the man was hit.
  • Her face looked up to see what he felt was getting more uncomfortable. "Beta Romeo." The sound that came out of her mouth was just a mumble that made Romeo understand.
  • "N—no… no… no!" Rena's shrill scream made the night animals that seemed to be peeking fly even more. The initially tense atmosphere became even gripping when she was pushed hard by Romeo, knocking her buttocks against a large rock.
  • Rena was still in pain when she saw Romeo holding the man's hand firmly. But, she could be a little relieved that Romeo's body didn't feel the pain of the vampire's claws – for now. Tears welled up seeing the vampire not staying silent and trying to avenge him.
  • Romeo wanted to break the vampire's neck right away, but his mind was still on Rena because he accidentally pushed too hard. He was looking for a way so that Rena does not see the terrible scene in front of her eyes. He tried to distract the vampire and went out of reach. But he couldn't. The vampire was always after Rena, not him.
  • Do I have to do this? Finally, Romeo fiercely bit the man's neck, making the vampire wince in pain. Romeo's wounds don't make him look weak. Romeo's body hit the side of the car, making the vehicle a little dented.
  • He could have called his friends to help, but he remembered that this was not his territory. Things get even more complicated if all the immortals come at the door of the Black Forest.
  • Rena grimaced at the sight. She had already taken steps to leave because she couldn't stand nausea she felt.
  • "Stay in place!" Romeo shouted while holding the vampire's head, wanting to break.
  • If Rena got out of his control, he couldn't guarantee that she would survive. At least it's because she and Rena have reached this stage. If only she didn't do what Gania said, they might be in the pack now and sleeping peacefully.
  • Romeo finally managed to break the vampire's head with the strength he had. The head that rolled in front of her made Rena even more nauseous. Romeo panted as he rubbed his lips, slightly torn from biting the undead's neck so hard. Earlier, Jade, who wanted to show his existence, had been suppressed by Romeo. He felt that he could quickly get rid of these germs.
  • "Are you okay?" A concern crossed Romeo's face even though the man was still staring Rena coldly.
  • Rena nodded, trying to stand up by supporting the rock behind her. Meanwhile, Romeo is still standing in front of Rena without any intention of helping.
  • The clapping sound made Romeo and Rena turn their heads for a moment. Rena, who tried to stand up, finally chose to use Romeo's clothes as a handle. He will still be dealing with vampires again, it seems.
  • "Beta Romeo…." The man wearing a leather jacket called out with a grin.
  • This time Romeo hugged Rena, not allowing other vampires to approach.
  • "With the rumors of your ferocity, you could only eliminate this trash for… twelve minutes?" The man looked at his watch while kicking the vampire's body lying on the ground.
  • This made Romeo snort.
  • "Or you don't want to show ferocity in front of your mate, huh?" The man leaned his body against the side of Romeo's car. Looks annoying with his arrogant style.
  • "Don't talk nonsense!" Romeo growled, his hands clenched into fists. The man always said things bad about himself.
  • "Still don't want to tell the truth? If I were you, Miss, I would leave this bastard man. How can this stupid man hate his mate." Raven wanted to approach but was prevented by Romeo. At least the vampire was not violent and only verbally violent.
  • "Stop telling me, or you will suffer the same fate as that stupid man!" Romeo's emotions were already at their peak.
  • But that didn't make the man in the leather jacket flinch. Instead, he laughed even more. "You want to do this to me? Very funny. With a snap of my fingers, your stupid pack will be destroyed instantly. Want to try?" The man took a sip of his cigar.
  • Romeo silenced what the man said. "What do you want, Raven?"
  • "I didn't want anything, I just walked in to cool off, and it turned out to be an exciting free show." While blowing smoke in the air, Raven–the vampire man–is still looking at Rena.
  • "You're funny. How can you who don't have a pulse and blood flow can feel hot," Romeo sarcasm.
  • Raven stubbed out his cigar and stepped on his shiny leather shoes, which he probably polished often. "Miss, be careful with your status, which has changed at this time, but it doesn't affect him. You have always been a rogue and the status that this Beta hates the most." Quickly the man ran away to nowhere without taking his words into account, making Rena and Romeo silent.
  • "Fuck!" cursed Romeo.
  • Rena smiled wryly. She should be thanking the man named Raven for telling him to take care of her heart. Rena knows. Today she was careless. Romeo did something sweet again and made herself complacent.
  • "Why are you silent? You want that disgusting creature to come back. I'm tired enough for today." Romeo, who was already on the side of the steering door, glared at Rena.
  • Rena quickly sat beside Romeo and saw the man's appearance. "You can stop by the palace first and then go home. Aa—I'll treat the wound—"
  • "Can't you sit there without saying anything? I'm fed up with you today. And ..." Romeo hung up on his words. "Don't ever think that we have more relationships, except between beta and omega. Bear in mind that!"
  • Romeo has a headache, and meeting Raven makes him even angrier. He could die young if he continued like this.
  • I don't know what Rena's heart is made of if it keeps breaking. She didn't mean to do what Romeo said, not at all. If Moongoddess had given her a fate like this, she would accept it. But can this man think before he says something?
  • Mate relationships in werewolves are not like normal humans. Relationships exist before birth. Suppose normal humans could choose a partner many times, but not for the werewolf. In their lifetime, they have only one partner to connect with. If they die, the partner dies as well as the others. Mindlinks that fellow werewolves can do are not always easy. There are times when they have to open their minds and let who contact.
  • For now, Romeo has completely closed his relationship with Rena, especially regarding the mating issue. A male wolf will immediately mark the female even in dangerous circumstances. A very intimate relationship makes them have a bond that can not be separated just like that, and they can feel more sensitive to each other.
  • Somehow Romeo had endured all this for years, while Rena was the one who often felt restless, making her even more uncomfortable. It feels like being electrocuted with a small force. However, it didn't make her sick. Moreover, Romeo, the male destined to have great strength, the electric current that Romeo feels is great.
  • "Thank you—" Rena smiled as her hand opened the car door handle. Had reached.
  • "Don't ever tease my brother again. He isn't hypocritical as you. And, stop being so innocent." Romeo's words made Rena frown deeply. She never even teased Jordan.
  • But what does Romeo mean when he says that she is hypocritical? Telling that the man thought of her as nothing more than a bitch. She was not naive. If Jordan gave her affection, she would accept and use it properly. Rena thought of Jordan as a friend, nothing more. Was she wrong?
  • "That's enough, Beta. You have crossed your limit!" Without reducing politeness, Rena opened the door that had been delayed and got out of the car, which she thought was very hot.
  • "Enough with your words! I'm nausea with you too!" Rena opened Romeo's jacket that she had been wearing and threw it on the chair she had been sitting on. "If only I could choose fate, I would make the sure meeting you is my last wish. I don't even hesitate to erase all memories of you."
  • Romeo was stunned. And he has fallen.
