- I pull up in the driveway way past ten o'clock. Amy looks wearing a yellow sundress with her hair in a high ponytail. She seems to be occupied in her own thoughts, probably good thoughts about a few minutes ago. I smile at my own recollection of the morning.
- "I hope Sophia is not so mad at me for making her wait for too long," Amy says while we walk to the porch.
