Chapter 11

• I woke up with a light head. I willed myself not to think anything about Jace so that I can focus on my work. I realized that I had lagged behind on the book I was editing. I poured myself some coffee and sat in front of my laptop. I am surprised when I finish the book before one. I haven't eaten anything sensible since morning. I last ate a decent meal at Jace's house. Ugh... There he goes again. He just can't get out of my mind. I can't stop thinking about him. I miss him now.
• I turn off the laptop and go to the kitchen. I try not to remember that Jace was kissing me on that kitchen counter, but it's hopeless. Jace has probably done something to me. I have never been possessed by someone like this. I have to use possessed because I nolonger have any control over my own feelings. There isn't enough groceries in the kitchen for me to make a decent meal. I hate this day.
