Chapter 13 Soulmate?

• "Amelia? Are you following what I'm saying?" To grab my attention, she clapped her hands in front of my face and snapped them. "You are not paying attention!"
• I tried to chuckle, but my face was already coated in a thick layer of sweat. Because of this, the tears that were falling from my eyes and the sweat that was running down the sides of my neck were almost mixing together. The expression on my face gave the impression that I had just seen something horrible in the woods, which was something that definitely did not escape Nikita's vision. Nikita's intense staring at me was the clue that led me to this conclusion.
