Chapter 40 The message

• The hair on the back of Alpha's neck stood to attention as an arc of lightning shot down his spine. He stiffened at the same time shocked gasps and a cacophony of low murmurs erupted like a wildfire in the atmosphere covered in green.
• Red Witches were females born as the descendants of fire. Their red curly hair denoted the flames of scorching dancing flames. Their scarlet eyes could see the future once they saw your face even in a crowd. Long and ruby red nails on their hands could kill someone worse than the pang of a pointed blade. They were dangerous as they devoted the lord of light. A lord that was as powerful as the moon goddess.
• Red Witches and Wolves had a history of combat, wars for power and recognition, blood bath and revenge. Though a peace agreement was signed centuries ago between the progenitors of the two clans, the descendants never forgot the past. Their encounters always witnessed deaths and a thick shower of blood.
