• Alan swore he needed to get out of that place not because his wolf was burning in fire of jealousy but because he wanted to gulp some fresh breaths of air. Unluckily, the atmosphere also changed immensely after Jeremy's arrival.
• The air felt stale and the winds had stopped. His skin burned and the sweat beads thickened on his forehead. Alan mopped them away with the back of his hand as he rotated to glance back at Lisa and Jeremy.
