Chapter 4 Chapter Three

• "Get all the warriors ready for training both male and female." I said to my gamma Ethan who nodded his head
• "Ok, Alpha." I watched him as he  left the room. Ethan was both my gamma and head pack warrior. He was a man of very few words, he preferred using his fist rather than long talks or story.
• The guy was huge and tough in his looks with scary tattoos and scars all over his body all pack members were scared of him sometime I could ell their fear.  I wouldn't lie and say I wasn't a little bit scared of him from the beginning I meet him why wouldn't I be, I was just a little girl learning how to control her powers not to mention he was part of the rogues group who killed my father who i converted into being good but soon I discovered he was a soft teddy bear when he likes you , trust me only when he likes you or maybe just me.
• "Alpha." My beta Christabel greeted bowing down her head in respect as she walked in behind the male gamma who walked out of the door. She was dressed in a red stunning dress that matches her hair and displayed all her hidden curves. Christabel had long red hair and beautiful blue eyes which was an odd combination but she was the  definition of beauty.
• "Yes." I answered her practically rolling my eyes internally. We maybe best friends but she always insisted on calling me by my title rather than my name, saying respect first as a leader before friendship.
• "You have a letter." She said walking closer to my desk handling a brown envelope to me. I eyed her suspiciously, it must be the council's of Alpha's , this wasn't the first time the council's members have sent me a letter but as always I toss it into the dustbin before opening it.
• "The person who came to deliver the letter gave it to one of the pack warriors and unfortunately I or Ethan weren't there to Punch the asshole in the face.” I said angrily making me chuckle at her choice of words.
• "his eyes held disgust seeing as females were more prominent and also the one guarding the pack boarders, he had the guts to call us weak before throwing the letter on the ground and walk out ."she said crinkling her nose in annoyance as she made her self comfortable on the chair. My eyes went from her face to the latter and I could still sight the dust on it no matter how there did try to clean it before giving it to me.
• Don't there all? showing disgust at my pack members for allowing their alpha to be a she wolf. I was ready getting bored of discussing the topic. My pack members are loyal to death and I don't mind laying my life for them because I know there will do it to me to. It's not like I don't have male wolf but I choose who gets the position base on merit and strength which so far the women has prove themselves.
• What a man can do ,a women can do better.
• I shook my head at her statement , she was behaving like it was the first time other packs giving was disgusted look when there came to give us letter for invitation of werewolves meeting which I never attended In other not to suck all the evil thought from them and turn them good especially when my battery life percent was almost zero.
• "Are you going." She asked crossing her legs together and resting her arms in her knee, it was more of a statement than a question.
• "You know the answer Christabel so why ask?" I said back to her taking my own seat and also making myself comfortable, my eyes already eyeing the dustbin to toss it inside like I always ended up doing.
• " I'm asking these because I need to know ,you only have little time left to live, so what if you meet your mate when you go for this meeting but your stubbornness is what still stopping you."
• " I don't know Emera, sometimes I just want destiny to take it cause."
• " And Destiny will, when you start going outside this pack to search for him and not seating down here for him to come meet you. You have been inside here for the past twenty four years, don’t you think it's time to get some fresh air."
• " Why will I be the one to search for him? Why can't he search for me. The air here is great and you know that"
• " You are the desperate one here, what  if he his an omega, you know the tendency of an alpha getting paired with an omega are always high so you will be the one to claim and mark him since you will be the alpha." I let out a frustrated sigh at the possibility of her words.
• She was right ,my father was an alpha and my mother was an omega, that’s how it has always been so my mate will either be an omega, gamma or a beta which will also be impossible because the possibility of a beta or an alpha being my mates  are slim to zero.
• "So are you going to think about it at least. “she said giving me a worried look
• "Yeah, I will"
• "Good." 
• "Now  it's time for practice."

• " Wolves gather together." I said to my group of pack warriors who were assembled on the pack training field.
• Sweat dripped down their body from how hard my training was. I controlled myself from checking out their hot bodies and tone chest. My pack males were hot so it is normal for an unmated female to check out a male.
• If I was going to go on the trip which I was still deciding on, I had to make sure my pack members were ready to fight a war with it without my presence.
• If I was going to go on a trip Ethan my gamma will be in charge and take care of the pack till I'm back.
• The pack training ground was in the middle of a large field surrounded by large trees where there can all easily change into except me. My powers doesn't allow my clothes to shred into pieces.
• " Alpha black I think we the youth are ready to take down the bigger wolves." Elijah said giving me a smirk silently checking me out, he was still an upcoming warriors and the hottest of all at least to me. But the age difference between us was huge, he was only twenty and I was twenty four which was a no no.
• " He his nothing compared to our mate. “my wolf interrupted my thoughts without invitation.
• " Oh you think you are ready ,why do you fight me then.” I said with a seductive smile. Harmless flirting wasn't bad it's not like I was loosing my virginity to him.
• " No Alpha, I can't fight you and would never. What I meant was we are ready to take down gamma chole. “he said all the smirk on his face vanished and he bowed down his head in respect making me chuckle at his words.
• "He is just a pup. " my wolf said.
• "If you can't take me down then how can you expect yourself to take down the enemy. Do you think you get to choose your enemy on the battlefield. Now listen up wolves today you all are going to fight me and if you loose you learn from it and train harder to make  yourself a  better fighter. Now who is first.” I said going from seductive to seriousness.

• I finished taking a cool shower that manage to calm both myself and my hormones after long exhausting training I had with my pack warriors. Thankfully the shower was able to calm me and refresh me all together.
• I slip into a short and tank top and head to my  office where I spend most of my time with pack documents. I don't always bother to look so formal in my dressing and my pack members know this and they are all used to it.
• If I was going to be leaving for the meeting which was for two days, I had to make sure that I was ahead of schedule. My pack work included, making sure food where properly delivered and distributed to it right full owner, creation of job for my wolves in the human world, building of houses for new pack members etc.
• It was almost eight o'clock I was done with my work and I headed downstairs to the pack kitchen to join my pack members to eat dinner with them and hopefully break the news of my decision to them.
• I received different greetings and acknowledgement from them as I settled down on my seat. We ate happy like a family and I was sure nothing could make me give this position of being their alpha.
• Except death.
• Of course except death which was the only thing stopping me, that's why I needed to find my mate soon to save my life.
• Only three months left to leave.
• "Don't worry mate will save us before then, when we find him we are going to mark and mate him immediately."
• Again I don't reply her when she talks about our mate. She was too hopefully for our own good, that I feel like if I say something I will ruin her joy.
• "I, Beta Christabel and Delta chole will be going for the alpha's meeting so Gamma Ethan will be in charge of the pack while I'm gone." There all looked at me with surprise, sadness and happiness. This will be the first time I was leaving them and I myself want too happy but it had to be done.
• " Any questions." I said as I looked at everyone, some of them were almost done eating.
• "No Alpha, on the contrary we are happy you are going to look for your mate. “An elderly woman named Elisa said whom I respected so much .  I gave her a soft smile in return and said nothing as we all continue eating.
• My pack members don't know I only have three months left to live, there don't know if I wouldn't die soon I won't go anywhere outside our pack. I was only doing this because of how desperate I was.

• "Are  you sure about this" Christabel asked as we arrived at the boarder of the dark midnight pack. We took my black range rover jeep which was as fast as my wolves speed. The ride had been only an hour, we passed by two other packs before getting to the midnight pack.
• "Yes I am christal." I said calling her by the pet name I do call her when were kids.
• "But you know we can turn back if you want to right?. “she said giving me a worried look which she has been given me lately.
• "Yes I know that but we won’t, if we do we were prove to them we are weak."
• "Ok let's go." She said giving my hand a light squeeze and I gave her a reassuring smile in return. 
• "For mate. “she said in encouragement.
• "For mate." I replied making my wolf howl in response.
• we can't go back now can we?.
