Chapter 447

• The next couple of days proved uneventful until one afternoon, John persuaded Alyssa to come with him down to the pool and begin to learn how to swim. Alyssa trusted John unreservedly but she was still scared of the water, so it was with some trepidation that she followed him into the gym. They had only just started to get undressed, when a warning alarm began to flash from John's watch.
• "Saved by the bell!" Alyssa grinned at John, zipping up her top again.
• He smiled back and pressed a button on his watch, a hologram of Calara's lovely face appearing before him.
