Chapter 40 It’d Be Too Late for You to Regret

• Tyler seemed rather displeased after he heard Keira’s words. He hadn’t intended on doing anything, but he felt the urge to do something after hearing the woman’s words. She had been reminding him about the same thing too frequently. The idea for a nasty prank surfaced in his mind at that moment, and he let out a sinister grin before he pulled himself closer to her.
• Keira was terrified by his sudden acts, and her face began to turn pale. She anxiously turned her body away to face the edge of the bed. “You’re about to fall off if you move anymore, you silly woman!” Tyler said with a chuckle. He had been in a glum mood the whole day, but he felt much better right then. He couldn’t help but lower his head to plant a kiss on the top of her head. Such tiny actions were enough to get the woman to be as frightened as a bunny. All she wanted was to hide away in a hole.
• He couldn’t stop himself—he stroked her hair as he spoke to her in a loving tone. “Go to bed. Stop thinking about those weird thoughts you have—I might actually do something to you otherwise! It’d be too late for you to regret then, right?”
