• I was still thinking about what happened today in the bathroom. Emery is constantly on my mind. I do want him, but someone has to think and be careful. I am still getting over the part of what made me break down today. This whole day makes me feel this way because it’s a reminder of the explosion.
• I must admit that seeing my apartment building being extinguished reminded me of the hotel explosion. I took in a deep breath as I took my satchel and I slung it over my shoulder. Max was still learning about the job so I went to the front where Carlos was standing in the restaurant. My shift was over.
