• The next morning, I got dressed in the only clothing that I had. I also have class today and I have to work after class. I’m sure that Carlos won’t mind me living with him for the time being. I feel like I cannot live here, although Emery offered for me to stay here for as long as I would like.
• There is too much emotion that is going on here. I feel like he needs more time and it is better to keep our distance. This is too fresh and so are the emotions. Its better that I live with Carlos than be here. That moment last night when he moved closer to me, tucking my hair behind my ear, made my heart beat fast yet I felt suffocated. It was wrong because he is my professor. As much as I still have a crush on him, I shouldn’t be thinking anything about it. I still feel the sparks between us, but because of what happened last year, I can’t have that happen again.
