Chapter 5

  • I woke up Saturday morning kind of excited. I was curious to see if Wonderland had received my email. I had written it around three am this morning and I was more then sure no one would answer but my curiosity got the best of me.
  • I opened up my computer and there it was a confirmation email. My fingers trembled as I hit the read button.
  • Dear Ms. Harris,
  • We look forward to seeing you on Sunday. Every detail has been planned and we promise that you will not be disappointed in your stay. At anytime you don't feel comfortable please let one of my staff know or myself.
  • We look forward to meeting you Ms. Harris and we hope your every possible pleasure will be fulfilled.
  • Blaze
  • Wonderland Founder
  • PS - please see attached rules
  • How come that last line, we hope your every possible pleasure will be fulfilled, already had me wet between the legs and why did Ian come to mind? I have never been this open with giving up the goods and now I seem like a horny toad. I'm officially thirty years old and ever since my birthday, my hormones have gotten out of control.
  • I jumped out of bed and decided to go for a run. I figured the clear air would do me some good. I brushed my hair back and tied it up in a ponytail, grabbed some tights and a jacket. Ten minutes later I was walking out the door.
  • City park was known as the runner's hangout. You could find every age, color, creed and every brand of dog in town. It was a safe place as cops were always patrolling. I would miss this place once I moved.
  • I started a light jog as I put my earplugs in my ear. My favorite song, Hungry Like the Wolf, by Duran Duran began to play. I was so caught up in the song that I didn't realize my foot caught the end of sidewalk leaving me fighting for my balance. As I closed my eyes and held out my hands knowing I was going to hit the pavement, two strong arms caught me before my face hit the pavement.
  • "I got ya," the deep baritone voice said. I swallowed hard as a very built dark skinned guy picked me up. He held on to me tight as my legs wobbled to the ground. I felt my legs give out and he managed to grab my waist.
  • "Thank you," I seemed to whisper as the wind took my voice away.
  • "No problem. Glad you are okay."
  • "Now I am," I said trying not to stare. He had a short trim, a perfectly trimmed goatee and pearly white teeth. His arms were thick and muscular while his chest had wide ripples from what I could tell through the shirt. My eyes travelled down his stomach all the way to his big feet. I was sure the brother was working with something but I needed to keep it going.
  • "Are you okay?" he asked me as I was staring at that delicious body. I wondered if he could move that precisely in bed? What was I thinking? Come on Mona you are losing it!
  • He cleared his throat. I looked up to see him smiling at me with his arms crossed.
  • Can you say awkward and embarrassing? Thank goodness I was moving soon so I would never have to see him again.
  • "Sorry. I think I'm still a little shaken up that's all. I just knew I would fall but you caught me. A very chivalrous thing to do. Thank you for saving a girl extra money on makeup."
  • "A beautiful woman like yourself don't need makeup. Everyone has a natural beauty and I think more woman should show that side of themselves. The vulnerable side but they quickly mask themselves with the artificial."
  • Damn this bruth's speech and eyes were a turn on. I needed to leave before I would regret something.
  • "Well I have to go. Thanks for saving me," I said putting the earplugs back in.
  • "The name is Walker," he said holding out his hand.
  • "Mona," I said returning his handshake. He smiled and nodded as he watched me jog off. Damn he had a sexy smile. Damn it seemed that Mr. Ian had unleashed something inside of me and now I was hungry for that same touch. How could I have lost his card?
  • Shame on me.
  • I finished my run and headed back home. When I pulled up I saw a large pickup truck with Peabody Movers on the side. When I got out, a short Hispanic man got out with a clipboard.
  • "Ms. Harris, I'm Don Juan from Peabody Movers. I'm here to give you an estimate," he said smiling. He was short, as I could eat off his head.
  • I walked him around the house with my fingers on phone just in case I needed to call 911. I didn't like strange men in my house so I had to be careful. An hour later I signed the moving contract and he left.
  • I looked at the time and realized that I didn't have any swimsuits appropriate to wear on my trip so I hurried to the mall. After finding a few things I came home and packed a small suitcase. I was more than sure that it would be hot in the Bahamas so I brought long sheer dresses and sandals. I finished packing, showered and spent the evening in the bed.
  • I wondered what Wonderland would be like. Would I have a private room or roommate? Were there whips and chains or vibrating beds? I laughed to myself. Would I have to put a quarter in it and watch it vibrate? I laughed thinking about the possibilities.
